Re: Anyone else having issues with Victron inverter when batteries are low? My Trace 4024 cannot deal with dead batteries, i think they are all similar. However, ‘managed’ lithium batteries require specific communications (Can-bus) which means the 50A split phase shore power L1 goes AC1 on Inverter 1 and L2 goes to AC1 on Inverter 2.
120V/240V is 3-wire single phase, not two phase. I have decided on a 230v Victron inverter, Multiplus 11 hooking up to 100 amp Autotransformer.I don't listen to music very loud and sometimes see the gain on the DAC right now at -38 to -40db output volume.

The IP65 will only be used when connecting to 15 Amp shore power. Forum moderators are not GD employees-we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. This is on a USA based boat in conjunction with a Quattro 24/5000/120-100/100 230vac. The house batteries will be two SOK 100Ah LiFePo batteries connected in parallel. There are the obvious battery positive/negative and PV positive/negative connections. The neutral from all sources is abandoned, so we input to the Quattro the L1 and L2 from either the marina or our generator. You can use a Victron Autotransformer to step up 120V output from a single inverter to true split phase 240V - a better solution than AM Solar's or a NO/NC switch.

Courious if anyone on here has a Victron Autotransformer? Be cleaner install if lug will except 2 #6 wires. I haven't found a transformer yet but they must exist. For every 10 ゜C (18 ゜F) increase in operating temperature above 25 ゜C (77 ゜F), the warranty period will be reduced 50%. They state dual Victrons set up in split phase (180 apart) is problematic. While the step up and step down functions are fairly straightforward, split phase output balancing may require some more attention.
The manual states that it should be mounted in a dry location but is rated at IP21. The mains comes to it via an autotransformer, which knocks the mains down by just 15-20V or so. The voltage between any hot pin and ground is 110. I see your point about the Victron being grid-tied. His definition says A Starter equipped with an autotransformer that serves to reduce the voltage applied to the motor terminals during starting. An auto transformer has only one winding with center tap (or two equal windings in series). AT-2 step up 120 to 240V with Quattro 120V.
